I have had a few visits from from some mallards recently; Mr Drake seems to have two wives. Here they are dabbling around in my front garden, clearing up dropped bird seed, preening and drinking from the bird bath.
Later on one of the females decided to check out my back garden to see how the pond was progressing. She decided the bird bath there wasn't really deep enough, but was enough to cool her toes down thank you very much
